Welcome to Our Site

In 2003, Archbishop David Crawley of the Anglican Diocese of Kootenay invited me to post weekly reflections on the lectionary readings for each Sunday, as a resource for small congregations, or simply for interested persons to read. Since then, I have missed only one Sunday. An earlier website failed after a number of years, so this is an attempt to make my reflections more accessible again. As society changes, and particularly as democracies are threatened, we need to connect the biblical readings to what is going on in the world around us, in the lives of individuals and communities, and in the life of whoever is preaching on those readings. So thank you to all who have followed these reflections over the years, and welcome to those of you who are just joining in. Peace and blessings to you all.
